While I am still holding station. Although with @scottm not posting I am guessing they are all holding there breath for the offer to close.

Why are you now pivoting to second QIC offer, after they effectively pulled the first by not giving another extension. I don't know if they should have or more importantly could have consummated the the second deal because the company has not released the detail. I am still of the view that they wanted to but could not consummate the first deal that was agreed to by both parties and it was QIC that ran out of patience.

As I posted at the time, which only took me 5 minutes to work out. The deal was not cheap, I didn't say they should not do it, when it was announced. If the board had a better deal they should have done that.

I will say again "Meanwhile they paid for a 350t crushing plant that has been sitting there rusting and they have racked up millions of $$$$ extra in operational losses because they don't has the crushing capacity."

The reality is the finance should have been sorted 12 months ago. Perhaps if Kevin wasn't running around the world and he was on the ground at MC it would have been. Because the action of doing nothing has cost EQR share holders far more than the extra cost of the original QIC deal, no matter how you cut.
