I’m starting to think now that when EQR stated that they “turned down” the QIC loan because they felt that they could get a better deal for shareholders, they didn’t actually mean ALL shareholders. Just a better deal for those shareholders who could participate in the capital raising and would end up with a share of the 100 million options while the rest get diluted once again… Why give 100 million options to QIC when they can be given to ‘select shareholders/ friends/ family/ directors?’ instead and at a 20%+ discount to the market price. Definitely a much better deal… for some. And just before the company is apparently expected to significantly increase production and start making a profit from Mount Carbine and Saloro…

Yes, the share price may fall to 4 cents so other shareholders can ‘participate’. But that’s what the EQR cheerleaders on HotCopper said when the share price fell to 4.5cents after the last capital raising. How many capital raising have happened in the last 10 years? When does it end? How much longer before the company starts to deliver on their promises of profitability and we finally get the ever elusive share price appreciation?
