very clearly the placement could have been done after a run up in share price following results. You could raise the same amount of cash with less dilution, if you wanted. This is just a handout to mates.
Disagree about it being a handout. Sure, you gotta feed the bear and keep instos onside for your stock, but from what I have seen in recent years in the biotech space is companies doing this more and more regularly - getting guaranteed funding (and $15m isn't loose change) from good news.
I'm not at all concerned - this will be a blip on the radar by mid-2025.
