Lets see what is announced when they come out of a TH but it would seem that AAR are seeking to takeover MXR?
MXR is considerably undervalued and a takeover by AAR will more than likely be an opportunistic bid just before MXR gets into production. MXR holds strategic ground with shovel ready shallow high grade gold deposits in a near all time high gold price environment. There is huge potential exploration upside with a decent exploration budget especially in the under explored WIN tenements to the south and the Wattle Dam offset. In fact there is huge exploration potential across the whole tenement package. Then there is the KOMIR lithium agreement that has just been extended.
MXR is also strategically located close to mills and more importantly in relation to AAR gold deposits at Mandilla. It would seem that due to the narrow nature of these AAR tenements at Mandilla that there is insufficient ground to build a plant and there may also be a problem with water for mining? Is this also where MXR becomes so important to AAR's development aspirations?
Shareholders of MXR should not underestimate the value of MXR in the current gold climate and its potential strategic importance to Astral's development aspirations. Astral wont be getting my MXR shares on the cheap for some exaggerated premium from an undervalued position. Furthermore, consider that AAR's SP has been pumped up in recent months, possibly for this TO, so MXR shareholders may get overvalued script for our undervalued shares!
MXR has great potential to go it alone and get into production. We are on the cusp of becoming a producer and any offer for taking over MXR by Astral is going to have to be a very healthy offer to win me over. MXR Shareholders must hold the line here if they want to see real value obtained for their shares in a takeover scenario from Astral. Astral need us! We don't need them!!!
