I would think they will be working hard to get things approved as soon as possible and pulling all stops out and calling in as many favours from the Urology fraternity as they possibly can. I would hope to see quite a lot of moves in the coming months and would certainly hope that it will take a lot less than your 2 - 3 years timeframe.
Certainly it could take a year but the outline of what management has outlined as the flaws in the Novitas determination certainly gives them several targets to take aim at.
I noted one of the more ridiculous comments apparently made by Novitas was that they found fault with the fact that PEB had funded a number of the scientific reports. It sounded as though Novitas was saying that PEB paid to get the reports it wanted. That reveals a shocking biased attitude to the scientific studies that have been carried out by reputable organizations.
Still it seems that Novitas is wedded to its blinkered vision.
