The discerning investor needs to distinguish between this rejection of the permit and an actual valid rejection.

This rejection has nothing to do with the permit itself but rather is simply a political tactic once used by Scomo and now used by Husic under Albo's instructions. The similarities are so evident that to not see them is folly.

And yes the ghouls will all come out now and beat their chests about how brilliant they are and I told you so blah blah blah. Once they've had their sugar hit we can turn to the actuality of this situation.

The grounds for refusal as listed by Husic are flimsy at best and will not hold up to any legal scrutiny on top of the fact that NOPTA have approved the permit. Denis Denuto would clean up should he be given this case so I'm sure DB's legal team who are yet to lose a court case will be all over it.

The momentous part for me is that I was expecting either a denial or complete silence. Denial rather than silence has fast tracked this application as we do not need to wait for the election to launch legal action.

So where do we sit. Well either the LIBS win and the permit is reviewed based on the threat of legal action, or the ALP win and the permit is reviewed based on the threat of legal action.

Either way this case never sees the inside of a court room IMO. Too many skeletons in both closets.

So for those that hang around take a couple of hits from GB and his ghoul mates knowing that in the long run justice will be served, and for those that don't please don't.

tbh I am really looking forward to some banter with GB while the time passes leading up to federal court. It’s a great way to pass the time some days.
