Well, it's not like there is a club where we all meet up and discuss things (SI's are as individual as any other retail holder), but I've been doing it for over 10yrs (non-SI for 15yrs before that) along with a bunch of mates who are also SI, so I can only speak for myself and my experience with them, and none of us are short term traders. If anything, I'm guilty of holding too long and not taking enough profits when I can.
It's just a certificate from your accountant that most anyone can get with a bit of effort. You aren't assessed on your trading style.
But you are indeed welcome to your impressions if you have friends/associates who are SI's that do differently. There's not much I can do about that and I'm not here to try and change your impression.
