You are resorting to hypotheticals, the BOD (Board of Directors) are dealing with the reality of the day to day commercial in confidence negotiations with pharmaceutical companies. For all you and I know, multiple pharmaceutical companies could still be tripping over themselves to be our partner, or they could be running away as fast as they can. If its the former, then why sign a partner now when you can sign a partner next month on a significantly better deal, but in the meantime the bills still need to be paid. If its the latter, you are holding shares in a dud, why?
