I just had a good nights sleep post hearing news and saw trade screen this morning which looks like a blood bath is imminent. I am riding PCL with a chunk of cash i have borrowed mind you. Yet , i still see Woodsides exit as the best thing that could have happened to PCL. Remember that May 18 was the deadline for WDS farmin. Based on activity in the OJ basin, we may have a new partner, maybe even a drillship already in the basin booked by May 18 which is still 2 months away. Unless there is something seriously wrong with Pel 87, majors are going to be all over us sooner than many expect. Imo I base this on the multiple interested parties in galp, other resident super majors such as Qatar and Total who have been snapping up holdings in multiple leases. Petrobas who made an offer and yet to enter OJ basin.... to name a few I believe our massive turbidite system already markets itself and wouldnt be surprised if we already have knocks on door by majors wanting to see our data, in light of Woodsides exit. This is Pancons window to make good by extracting full value of this new opportunity none of this 19% +1% OR scars from NWE, FAR experience. Talk about Game Changer
