i think your concerns are overblown roger.
Dean has stated his thoughts pretty clearly through that recent q & a on the dre website that I reposted here.
It's clear as day he is ultimately for the idea in principle but very aware that it can be harmful for shareholder value and should only be done from a position of strength. Its very unlikely he will do it prematurely IMO.esp with the short road to cash flow that's now well under construction, if not yet paved.

I think it's more likely he would take the pragmatic approach and use some of the profits when they eventuate from the gold or maybe a RE deal to buy shares back and thereby reduce the shares on issue that way. The time when that becomes possible is really not very far away.

Even if they do eventually consolodate, the inevitable 'when' that you speak of actually makes all the difference. If it's done from a position of strength and momentum it may well be just a blip on the radar that is soon forgotten. The share register is then born again, cleansed, rejuvenated and set for the second coming. Clearly dean is aware of the consequences and I doubt he's going to deliberately bomb the 6 mill that him and other management have staked so far..
once moneybis incoming further cash raises cease to be much of a concern.

so far from the truth umkmymny.
Dean is a good salesman amongst his other talents, yes. Nothing wrong with that at all. Small companies with no income like explorers need to be promoted so they can be funded to fulfill their explorstion strategy. Its what keeps them alive.. so lets all put our hands together and show some appreciation for the fact that we have a ceo that is both a good sslesman and a pretty good leader in other ways too.. in finding and defining geological opportunities, managing and refocusing the company through hard times to still have a much rosier looking future than many of its peers if you're being objective, and still take the time to be open and available to pretty much anyone who bothers to ask a question and a nice guy to boot (and I don't mean when he's down ntrain).

As my fellow canine in arms, eddythedog said some people can see it, others can't.

Noone here has a crystal ball bigal (except eddythdogs wife i think). If your running a business you make forward projections on what is known and expected st the time. Clearly things beyond deans control have impacted this company. Its impossible to always forsee the future but you take your best shot and then have to wear the consequences after that..
Consequences of being slagged off by couch potatoes and panic merchants that somehow thought buying a speculative mineral exploarion co was a guaranteed one way path to 20bag city, WA. In that case, who's the idiot?

Reality is that you should buy into these things knowing most fail, because that's the facts. You are highly likely to lose money.. it cracks me up when people shit their nappies and cry for mummy at times like this.. it's just an effen cash raise.. yes, unwanted, yes unexpected but ultimately is very likely to be for a good reason. The dust has not settled on it yet and already people are baying for blood. How about we all just sit back down grab your comfort blanket, put that little baby sucker thing back in your mouth and relaxxxxx.. I doubt it's going to be a huge one anyway given what it's likely going to be used for.

I think green bull has a point.. the tenement purchase alone probably are not the sole reason for the cash raise. It could be more funds to drill it out or something else.
If the assessment is that it's a good bet to cop a bit more dilution now and secure and drill out tenements that may create commensurately greater value later on down the track it could well be a risk woth taking, esp if those tenements were possibly at risk of being sold to someone else who may then hold us hostage or demand some other form problematic request once we get drilling success in the area.

who really knows but the management at this point?.. not me for sure and it may prove to be a bad decision in hindsight but I'm betting that it won't and 6 million dollars of managements money is also prodding them to to the right thing by the company too..

So take a deep breath, sit back and see what happens when the announcement falls. You have to have a mid to long term outlook here. It's unlikely a ten bagger will come overnight if that's what you're after, there will be ups and downs but ultimately I think we're on a good track. Self funded explorer.. another cash raise imminent but very likely no more till we have dosh flowing into the coffers.. Dean will have his work cut out explaining this one so it's not likely he'll have the appetite to put us through another one..

I await the viscious verbal lashings from those confused tormented negative holders who soooomehow think we're one road to doomsville yet still can't quite bring themselves to sell.. what's really going on in your Grey matter guys? Do tell.
