I know what LPI sold for (I was a holder as I mentioned in my post) and what type of deposit they had (size and grade) and the intricacies of the project and what transpired regarding the 100% takeover. You seem to be missing the point of my post re similarities between the two companies (price versus value equation). If you want you can go back and read my LPI posts where I talk about the disconnect between the share price versus true value for the project and hence why I made money on the eventual monetisation event, I expect to do the same here (assuming Galan is eventually sold, which is the only reason I am here, I am not interested in JP and this board running an operating lithium mine, that is concerning to me (imo). I am not comparing the two projects at all, they are vastly different projects with completely different economics and foreign jurisdictions. if you re-read my post above, all I said was that LPI reminds me of what is transpiring to Galan atm (Both share prices were unduly low when you compare their true worth on a 100% acquisiton basis. I also don't rate either of the management and their capital allocation decisions (Thankfully the deposit is world class) but that is my own personal viewpoint based on what I have observed to date. I've attached a post I made here below for your reference and for other Galan supporters on the 07/02/2024 where I actually touched on the valuation gap - I even mention LPI... This was well before there were offers being made to acquire Galan on a 100% private basis, its not my first rodeo. Both market caps (today and back on the 07/02/2024 were 100 million and hence why I am here today as I don't need a third party offer being made for me to work out there is a mispricing. Cheers, CP.
I couldn’t resist and bought stock here yesterday for the first time, investors are so fixated on share price falling, investors are forgetting the market cap. 100 million excluding cash in the bank with this level of advanced project and our economics, yes please. If LPI was sold for circa 380 million recently for the full company in a private transaction, then IMO Galan is worth a hell of a lot more than it is currently being priced in by the market. I made money off accumulating LPI when the share price was irrationally being driven down and I expect to do the same here. LPI had zero chance of going into production and management were average operators but the deposit was still worth a hell of a lot more than the market was pricing in. Cheers, CP
