Just because it hasn't been openly stated that the company is up for 'sale', doesn't mean JP and Co wouldn't divest at the right price. In my opinion they want to finalise stage 1 and ensure an offtake is in place to maximise sale value - I am happy to be wrong and merely stating an opinion. It is extremely difficult for Juniors to go from deposit to full capacity production and then operate the mine for 40 years without shareholders being diluted to the oblivion, which if you haven't noticed has clearly happened here, why do you think a lot of these juniors are bought out prior to commencing production (Latin Resources, LPI). Its not like going into production isn't without extreme risks (have you looked at the lithium price at the moment), Galan would be operating at a loss and could do so for the forseeale future which would mean more cap raises.
I am not emotionally invested here and will be happy for holders if this goes into production and all holders make heaps amount of money on dividends and an eventual increase in share price. I am here for a monetisation event as I am sure are others, I am also sure some existing holders would also sell their shares in Galan on a 100% acquisition basis at the right price. You need to consider current value (sale at xyz price versus future value - dividends and cash flow). The latter being a lot more uncertain and into the future. Cheers, CP.
