Given that RL sold down in the last cap raise, at 76c, I think it might be politically wise if he sat out this one.
While I am prepared to admit that the reality is more complicated, and would never personally stoop to cheap attacks, there might be those who would unkindly suggest that he would be profiting from his own incompetence.
There are also may of us who, to use a trendy broking term badly,would have liked to have seen a bit more colour around why the Sonic Healthcare deal didn't work out.
Though with the wisdom of hindsight, the fact that there was no upfront payment to PIQ (usually part of the standard quid pro quo if you're only getting a royalty in the long run, see eg. NEU) and they had to do a raise instead should have been a flag with at least a tinge of red in it.
