I once knew a CEO of a public company years ago that was into mining. He used to tell me of the agony of exec/board meetings when results were imminent, whether to pull the trigger before they received them or do it after...they used to anguish and argue for hours...then fret over the inevitable flak of shareholders if they raised beforehand and results were good because 'they should have waited and diluted less' or if results were bad 'there is a leaky ship and all of their supposed insider friends were quietly dumping in the weeks/ days prior'.

We are in the age of 'entitlement' where its everyone else's fault if expectations aren't met. Cheers
