OK, so you'll need to secure support of at least one major shareholder (probably an insto or similar) or a big chunk of the retail shareholders to get this off the ground. That sounds like a tough ask - but its possible.
So, lets say you get your wish, the people revolt, call an EGM and dismiss certain Directors, then what? Replace them? How, having busted up the party, does an activist investor bloc effect real change at the board level? You can nominate to the Nom & Rem committee, but can only vote on the appointment, not the process itself?
I ask, because I'm genuinely interested in the end game you'd ideally effect. I hear you agitating for change at the top - what happens when you get your wish? Will we, as shareholders, be any better off?
