Other considerations are the developments regarding synthetic graphite production, particularly via methane pyrolysis which is currently being developed that could make natural graphite mining redundant. This has been addressed by Mark who countered by saying that their silicon graphite treatment process could easily process synthetic graphite if developments went that way. I have a foot in both natural graphite and synthetic graphite and await the current developments with keen interest.
