this is true, but its also a bit paradoxical - an "interim" update is also price sensitive, at what point did they know it, before they decided to release the info? did they just suddenly discover yesterday that there is "interim" information available? or does the information need to meet a specific threshold of reliability? its actually quite opaque in terms of how long a company might reasonably be aware of information but not disclose it because they need to "confirm" its accuracy, for example.
