Yes and Indonesia enacted laws a while back to limit the export of raw ore, so developing countries are passing legislation on ore exports, to up lift processing (education, skills, etc) within their country.
And what does AU do - oh here is a big bucket of money / framework (sorry The Future Made in Australia bill - try reading it WTF). We have made ourselves so "uncompetitive" by high cost of housing (translates to higher salaries), no energy policy, no education policy (secondary, tertiary), etc BHP is now considering returning to Nickel operations but in Africa
I seriously hope RNU will be one of the lowest cost producers - I don't believe the SMM price wrt PSG, etc as it is extremely opaque.
Hopefully the trading halt is positive and includes some extra $$$ from somewhere - I know it only said outcome of development approval, but it is nice to be hopeful ..........
