i would have thought that a director who knowingly causes a company to incur liabilities when he knows (or ought to have known) that the company cannot (or could not) pay that debt, and would or could become insolvent, would be personally liable.
I bet it is an offence under the Corp Act.

If Bolton is a director of ASI, then he is treading on thin ice.
