It could be a 'standard' price sensitive announcement. i.e. nothing phenomenal. Listing rules state that if there is market sensitive information that has not been released to the market yet and the company becomes aware that the information may have leaked they must either immediately make an announcement or immediately request a trading halt.
It looks to me like a leak happened and for once a small cap has done the right thing and halted trading until they could inform the market. Nice to see some integrity in the sector for a change and the fact that TH's are unusual just goes to show that PEN are normally pretty tight with their info.
having said that though whoever it leaked to seemed willing to bid it up pretty damn high so they must have been expecting a good market reaction....
