Ann: Trading Halt , page-4

I can never understand why a trading halt has to be called for a share placement.
It's a done deal before the announcement is made. I doubt whether it will suddenly send the SP up; in fact, it may send it down because of the dilution factor. Strange in this case that the SP went up prior to the halt. Maybe the whisper network thought that there was more to the announcement; partner deal or something!
