I wonder what the trading policy is in the case of a company executive holding a mountain of shares who gets a divorce. What if the divorce settlement required the partner to be granted half the mountain of shares?
Would the now ex-partner be allowed to sell whenever he/she liked, without having to ask for permission, or to notify the market that they had sold (assuming they held under 5% of total shares on issue)?
