I went to the Broadway store and found hardly anyone in there but the rest of the shopping centre was quite busy. I'm not sure how well they will do when a supermarket is nearby. Too many products can also be found in the supermarket. Hard to see where their competitive advantage is. I'm also noticing the local suburban $2 shop/discount shops are not doing as well as they used to. One near me closed down. Perhaps more people buying online, perhaps higher wealth and jobkeeper payments is giving shoppers more firepower to buy more expensive items elsewhere.
