Big rich companies are taking pennies away from A.I juniors at this moment.
Nvidia is making big coin selling A.I servers - the back end infrastructure is still being built to hold data in the cloud. The front end where Appen is involved hasn't quite taken off yet. There are a tonne of A.I start ups in perpetual funding stage and not going to market to raise capital. Also have Fortune 500 still trying to decide how to deploy capital in the front end after spending millions building the back end.
It's coming, but when.....
