I'd like to think a few of we urban small investors understand that agricultural/horticultural conditions and hence profit/losses vary widely by year due co commodity and input prices, the weather and heaps of other factors, but it's still unpleasant to see BGA "highlighted" for all the wrong reasons:

Bega Cheese is the worst performer on the local sharemarket on Wednesday after tumbling to its lowest level since 2013.
Shares in the food and drink group were down 8.4 per cent to $3.11 at 2.35pm AEST after falling to a decade-low of $3.07 earlier in the session. A close below $3.12 would be its worst since August 2013.
