Yes, a thoughtful and value-added post, agree with the main focus of your arguments. Agree as to the distinction between the Casino and the operators, and community type gambling. Although with some very aggressive monetary policies by the RBA, much fewer discretionary $ are being allocated to gambling. You would be aware of the accompanying anti-gambling warnings with the likes of Sportsbet and others during the football and thoroughbred racing segments. There is a family holding in SGR and they follow the progress of the QW Project. As to NSW Govt, would be cautious as to the longer-term taxation policies and its intended target ie SGR, like it or not. May end up in private entity, or entities, such as the former Crown. As to any form of CR or cash injection, SGR is not in any position of strength or negotiation leverage or such, and would be forced to accept any inferior offer, just to merely exist. As to the longer-term viability of SGR, we may have to agree to disagree, look at the precipitous fall in the SGR sp, and yet another near term CR or similar. Hope you are right but would be alert to any more market warnings.
