From NSW State Budget 2022:

"Following the Northern Rivers flood disaster, the State Emergency Service will receive its single biggest boost of more than $132 million for infrastructure, resources and staffing. Lismore will also gain its own incident control centre. For the Rural Fire Service there will be $191 million over four years, while firefighters of the National Parks and Wildlife Service will receive $598 million for things like improved radio networks and the protection of significant habitats, like the world-famous Wollemi pines."
