Initial reaction from grumpy 'Mr Market' (poor chap: he hobbles on his walking stick) hasn't been good, with the SP down 10.56 per cent to A$0.635, probably because the old bloke looks forward and doesn't like what he sees.
However John King has done an excellent job since taking off, so we ought be prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. he can't control economic conditions, but to a fair extent he can control inventory, and try to where necessary slowly reduce leasing costs.
Hopefully by September we have an update on the MYR fulfilment centre in Melbourne's western suburbs.
