I hold both NEA and AMX. Have deep understanding for the industry as well.
Why AMX is doing better? Same Revenue growth year on year with better profitability.
If Nearmap was doing very well, why AMX is still growing and stealing their market share? I do agree with the post above me although they are in the same industry AMX are better money managers. Just look at the management compensation, then compare with Nearmap.
Second, AMX has Revenue of around 20M with 20M cash? (rough figures). Let's compare Nearmap revenue on their FY20 results with their cash.
On the long term I want both companies to win. Similar as Z1P and APT are growing, these 2 players can dominate the world if they play smart. Nothing better than having multinational australian made companies around the world. Happy for my portfolio, happy for the country.
