think AMX and NEA started with different type of business. one was modelling and another was imagery capture. it wasn't until lately with the LiDAR and other stuff their business becoming a lot more similar.
I do feel that the business strategies between the two companies are quite different though. AMX seems to be one of those slow and steady type. secure what they have before moving on whereas NEA seems quite aggressive in its growth. wherever spatial conference is, yoj will see them with giant booth and major sponsor. it's quite a market play.
