The Lion Dairy and Drinks purchase that was a major acquisition seems to be going OK. More information on how the three year plan to achieve factory and other synergies is proceeding would have been good.

The worry is that five of the six State Premiers (the worst being the Labor three in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia) together with catastrophist unelected health bureaucrats and a Prime Minister who while well intentioned lacks constitutional power combine to impose more needless restrictions socially that also badly affect how efficiently businesses can function.

While research doesn't seem to be settled, this Omicron virus variant is allegedly more contagious but less severe than previous iterations.

Overall despite the marked SP decline this morning, BGA seems to have a reasonably good to excellent future. I'm unsure how anyone convinces more young people to become (or stay) dairy farmers as it's a demanding lifestyle requiring early rising, which may not be the case with some competing agricultural pursuits.
