They mentioned strong migration/population being a tail wind to future earnings- you can thank labor for that!
unfortunately it's a case of 'can't have your cake and eat it too' as that same Labor Big Australia migration is also the thing creating inflation and cost of living pressures that reduce per capita spending,
big issue seemed to be the wet weather in Queensland. In my opinion a short term profit slump due to weather shouldn't dive the company's share price to the tune of 15% (in the last month). ASX is mostly future focussed and LAU share price should recover quickly.
