I used to see many mine people going home on their rotation off to their families in the Eastern states in transit lounges. WA simply does not have a deep enough labour pool to get maximum production. The young people in WA I have heard tend to not want to work at the mines. Its big money though. Its a good job for a divorced guy with no or low custody. Rebuild finances and have plenty of company.

Yep. I suspect other goldies will be in a similar position. One of the first to flag such a big priduction downgrade.
