I think the result was a good one. I give it 7 out of 10. 27 mill after tax is enough for them to continue to pay a dividend if they wish. A 12/13 final dividend would cost around 10.6 million chewing up about 35-40% of the after tax profit. My feeling is that they will cut the divi but not eliminate this all together. My gut feel is cut from 2.5 cents to 1.5cents in line with the POG dropping from budgeted AUD1,550 to AUD 1,350 or about 1/3 of NST's margin.
