So will the gov be rolling out the nanny subsidy program past June 2018? Seems to be yet to be decided. That will hurt Childcare centres if it is, as there will be more competition for qualified CC workers, and the maximum subsidy looks about the same. Obviously the Nanny's hourly rate is higher than a CC centre rate. We used a nanny for the first 3 years, even though it was more expensive.

I shorted GEM today after the analysts were a bit more hopeful than I expected. Interesting conversation about the GM. Will see how it goes.
