Indeed. I made the mistake of buying shares based on a high yielding divi a couple of times (I didn't learn the first time). I was able to get out of it with my capital intact ... eventually. But anyone thinking this is a buy based on what looks to be (on paper) a good divi really needs to stop and think about what they're doing.
The old phrase about falling knives seems particularly ironic in RFG's case.
