The EPL and growth of Optus sport is a Prime example (excuse the pun). I know for a fact that fox have lost the ability to compete and have lost bucket loads from less subscribers.
Unfortunately the longer term owners of sport will be tech streaming companies as we’ve already seen. Unfortunately the changes to media laws were too late and they’ve got no moat, not even a drawbridge to protect them any more. In time governments won’t be able to fight them if that’s not already happening with FAANG in the US..
Notwithstanding my non-holder bias. I do think there’s a solid trade below 20c and PRT will do well 2HY19 with cricket and multiple elections FED/VIC/NSW
