I expect given crude oil prices are at a 10 year low now that this will shortly flow through to lower resin costs which are a significant factor for PPG as I recall. Not sure bout drought conditions however, but would have thought the heavy rains across Eastern Australia this last month may be a sign of the drought beginning to break ? Strange thing is, companies in the agri-food sector ( Elders, etc) do not seem to have been impacted at all by the drought. Is there a disconnect somewhere.
