A significant share of their domestic revenue would be from sale of shade cloth thru the Bunnings stores across Australia. I don't know when it started but a few months ago noticed that Bunnings were stocking a competing brand of shade cloth under the name "Pillar." So my guess is this is impacting on retail sales of Gale shadecloth. Add this to the drought and might explain most of decline in domestic revenue. I am wondering if the competitor has lower overheads than Gale and is under cutting their prices, though have not been back to Bunnings to make such comparison. regards to holders.
