The number of registered schools on Schrole Connect as of today (December 31) is 427. This represent a 1.9% increase for the quarter (419 schools at September 30). These numbers were below my expectations.
Trawling through Reddit forums for international school teachers also paints a much less rosy picture of the online recruitment fairs. A lot of dissatisfaction which raises the question of whether it can become a long term working model.
These disappointments, amongst other factors, convinced me to sell my holdings at breakeven over the past couple of weeks. I still view Schrole as a viable business. Although I sense with RG being on a good wicket, the incentives are not aligned with shareholders. The end game possibly being the business sold for an eventual tidy profit to all shareholders.
Just my thoughts, and likely very wrong.
