I'm not sure but the risk of product obsolescence is a perennial concern that I have with this company, so your question is a very relevant one, I think, and is the one that precludes me from ever thinking this is a set and forget kind of investment.
Because I don't know what I don't know here, technology-wise.
But in the meantime, while whatever competing products may be under development, the company is careening ahead on the mother of all land grabs (witness today's update which shows bat-poo crazy momentum in the business).
