I've been a sleeper on MYR...bought in at 25c...was just too compelling, just a small position but its grown 3 times at these prices...loving it.
A number of years ago I came across a Breville Annual report and flipped through it pre covid ...I like having a scan at the top 20 and saw SL holdings...wait a sec...Id seen that before, did a small amnt of research and realised it was Sol Lew...I piggy-backed and bought a small parcel of Breville....a few months later I thought why the heck would Breville go up...everyone has kitchen applicances...there isnt just one manufacturuer of these, ie there is competition! How will this go up meaningfully over the next x years?
How wrong I was....Covid created a boom of stay at home, work from home, lock down and thus many wanted to update their over used appliances, the world over...Breville exploded. SL was right.
I have a suspicion he is right too with Myers. These guys dont just buy randomly.
Medium to Long term hold for me.
