A Pacific National intermodal train departed Dynon (Melbourne) tonight and is already past Euroa, bound for Brisbane, while a southbound has similarly left Acacia Ridge in Brisbane with destination Melbourne. Both are likely to have LAU railable containers on some wagons.

So from either midnight or 1000 AEDT tomorrow morning (sources differ), the Campbelltown to Moss Vale section of the Sydney - Melbourne line should have reopened. The extremely heavy rain around Picton (80 rail kilometres from Sydney's Central station) caused a cutting to collapse, so it had to be cut back.
