I remember more recently seeing Atomos Shogun recorders on Apple TV's "Earth at Night in Color" series towards the end of the episodes where they talk about how they captured the shots... They even make appearances in the trailer... Look at 33s, 43s, 1:06 in the following video where you can see the Shogun recorders:




But that's still "behind the scenes" type stuff, even though it's in the actual episodes. Where the monitors were used as part of the scene... I honestly can't remember where I saw them as it was a while ago... but I remember they were really high budget productions for me to sit up and take notice of the monitors... They were either the Neon or the Sumo series..
