Whilst this may be true, the share price has also been subsequently crushed.
The share price is getting to the point that DSK doesn't need to make quality money, it just needs to make money. Next 12 months are going to get tough, that's my opinion anyway.
But the key to investing is not just the next 12 months, its the next 10 years.
Mr Market will go about his psychotic ways, either too bullish in good times (sorry reggiearabbit), or too bearish in bad times. Key in my opinion is to look at the balance sheet. The balance sheet will give an insight into the underlying companies ability to weather difficult economic storms, absorb losses for a while, etc etc.
Anyway, I'm happy, exciting times
And mainly I'm happy because I: a) dont run a concentrated portfolio, (so can't loose too much from a single stock); and most importantly b) I am not aggressive, I have plenty of back up capital if things tank.
Actually even though hold, I am more than happy things tank.
Return on capital, but more importantly return OF capital.
