lots of it improvements in radiology. Voice recognition improving significantly (used to slow the doctors but becoming a tailwind) which should reduce need for clerical staff/typists, vendor led improvements like Siemens lung cad. For ultrasound reporting https://kailomedical.com has sped up reporting.
I don’t know what systems Idx use but I think pme is mainly into the vanilla ris (reporting system) In Australia (cf their us business) which hasn’t really improved efficiency over the last decade.
