Banks and utilities led the charge, but it wasn't all good news — retail dropped after Britain's JD Sports dropped by a mammoth 23% after the sportswear company lowered its full-year profit forecasts.
But that decline wasn't in isolation, with both Adidas and Puma stocks sliding as a result, down 3% and 5.9% respectively.
Maybe this is causing is causing the stock to drift lower.
