When you think about the carnage that happened yesterday here, it is unbelievable.
The market expected profit for 6 months missed by $14M and it was a such a big issue to wipe out 30% of the value ? The results had some good figures too like total network sales growth of 8%, positive cash flow after many years of spending on capital and acquisitions, $16M better profits than last half year. I am sure DMP has many options to plug the gaps in Japan and France, it is not like total pizza market is collapsing in those two countries. Japanese total market is expected to grow by 3% for next 6 years,DMP is number 1 in many regions.
Only thing you could say is DMP was running on high PE , valued to perfection.Except for GS, most analysts still has $50 target price after yesterday’s carnage . MS reduced it from $70 to 68. We have to accept market does it own thing. Once dust settles and DMP gets few runs on the board again , market will accept it.
