It was a very energetic meeting, answering more than 1 question per minute and man, they were tough question. I thought Don handled it well considering. Spoke clearly and accepted responsibility for the poor execution. You can tell by the way he presented that he will be putting some hours in to fix this issue with some heads rolling atm.

Mostly spoke about the France franchises. They are now pulling back some support from the franchises now doing well and allocating the support and even buying out some that have been doing poorly and lost faith. Noted that they have been lagging there for a while now.

CEO ccepted full responsibility that the issue is the execution. They are now looking to hire another CMO for France.

Don noted that they were third / fourth in France when they stood their footings there, they are now no1 by a large margin. The demand is there and strong in France, its just been their execution. Which they are working on correcting. Noted several times that it's still very early days in France and Japan. "Growing hurdles" and in hindsight they expanded too fast. They are focusing on that. He still believes in the long term it's a large market in the areas underperforming and long term they want to be there.

They have full support still of their financiers.

Parts of the Asian market are doing strongly, other areas not so much. The areas doing well unfortunately are the smaller areas.

Noted the Aus, NZ and Germany markets are doing the best in 6 years and expect continued growth there. That Australia is and will be the standard they will aim for.

the last 2 months they have had the benefits of the drop in cheese prices, slow to receive those benefits because they store months of supply at the time.

Don didn't mention the drop in grain prices.

Not providing guidance, but asked their shareholders to stick with them the next 4 to 7 weeks so they can provide further clarity (not guidance).

The question is, can they turn those underperforming areas around and what time frame. Seems motivated to do so.

No discussions yet regarding share buy backs.

I purchased today, thinking it's oversold chart wise, still very profitable and market leader in many areas.

Hoping for a close above $41. Could be some pain if it doesn't.

Is the low in? Huge stock to be down 30% in one day. Been on my watch list for a long time, so happy to get in at this price.

Yep, I agree what you have said and please read my analysis.
As you said it is there and DMP set up well to benefit. It is remarkable achievement in France to be no 1. Don said even Japan is a huge market to grab.
Hopefully when the viability of the two markets are examined again, they will be able to take some meaningful actions. To lessen corporate stores in both countries and save cost to DMP. They need to do something radical and urgently. The balance of the business is growing well as well becoming very efficient with restructuring.
