yeah you'd think so but hard to know with these guys, it might depend if there is anything in it. seems they disregard poor results or at least dont bother to get around to completing programs for ages if there isnt any decent mineralization. Mangana mapping and sampling Sept qtr 21 (assays still pending) and, Portland drilling started 31st March 22 ( was only 1190m but still logging it apparently ) come to mind. They also have a history of very long assay turn arounds for no apparent reason at all.

I spoke to ALS Burnie in Tassie today, where Flynn gets there samples prepared and if they choose (wanted a very fast turn around) could have their samples assayed for Au in very quick time as well. The lab .has good capacity for fire assay but is actually under the pump sample prep wise from large amounts of samples coming from Roseberry and Henty and have been struggling getting and retaining staff to operate their recently expanded capacity ( had to cut down from running 3 shifts due to staff issues). Still, the lab said a few ( I suggested 20 or 30) "rush / priority" samples to be prepared for assay, like Flynn suggested they are doing could easily be fit in and done in a couple of days. If not fire assayed in tassie, those prepared samples would then be air freighted to one of ALS mainland labs, probably Brisbane or Townsville with rush samples from that point, said to take 2 or 3 weeks but definitely less than a month.

Flynn announced the good looking intersection in TFDD008 they were sending for priority sampling at Trafalgar 14th Feb so about 6 weeks ago. They could get around expediating the process though as they could have meant they were prioritizing sampling that interval in their normal process rather than prioritising it with the lab - ie getting those <20m odd samples to the lab next day, having it in the assay lab on mainland within a week ect all doable at slightly more cost per sample. The interval in 008 looks pretty good imo and it wouldn't surprise me to see assays, in the order of or over the 100g /t range as texture and mineralogy looks very similar to the core where they hit 153g/t ( from memory) in other drilling. There is no reason why assays for this hole should not be already done if not by design / on purpose. Bear in mind thought that its only about 2 1/2 months until their main holder has most of their shares out of escrow and i wouldn't put it past this company to purposely delay these potentially good results until closer to or after that time.

just that they do some weird things that generally cost them a lot of time - Jan 19th ann was for drill assays for TFDD005B the last interval from 349.1m 9 so whole hole logged and undergone sampling some months ago. The announcement also indicates a note that two zones of visible gold in the same hole, from 160 and 174m were yet to be assayed. Its pretty clear ( from a geo's eye) the core pics of this interval couldn't really be missed - quartz veins, good sulfides and visible gold, and should definitely have been sent within the same batch as the rest of the TFDD005B "priority" sampling process. very strange they weren't sent together - are they saying the geo missed intervals of obvious quartz veining with sulfides and visible gold whilst looking for and logging exactly that ?? Anyway, what they are saying here from their own announcements is that "priority" sampling of this core takes at a minimum 10 weeks ( if they had only just noticed the new zones 19th Jan and sent them then) to get results ?? That is a bit different to the " a small number of samples like that on priority could easily be done within a month if pre arranged" the lab manager stated today.

Priority sampling does not take 10 weeks to complete so at a guess, if we dont see these results this week, they may be purposefully delaying them for some reason, surely they cannot drag it out for another few months but who knows. I am expecting some good grades when they do decide to release them though, Although they operate at a glacial pace with zero sense of urgency, with pretty much every program taking way longer than normal, Golden Ridge is shaping up nicely for an early stage play with good advancement in the understanding of controls ie very narrow quartz sulfide zones contain the mineralized gold zones being hit with good strike rate frequency (another reason why missing quartz sulfide visible gold zones is a bit questionable and likely imo done on purpose for some reason - extending news flow maybe ?) Large gaps in most programs, very little work actually done for 21 months listed and paying themselves heaps so definitely lifestyle company signs but Im still looking forward to next results and how Golden Ridge shapes up.
